46. Stop Disrupting and Start Transforming
I hear many speakers talk about disrupting the profession.
Most are just using it as a sales and marketing ploy to appear different.
However, I think transformation is much more difficult.
It’s about finding a way to create even more value than the people before.
It’s about looking back, saying thank you for your contribution, and now I think we can grow and do even better.
It’s about encouraging, not insulting, and genuinely helping, not scamming.
45. Single Biggest Threat to The Chiro Owner
I have been around this profession for a long time, and burnout is hands down the biggest threat to chiropractors' success.
When you own your business and operate in it, it is very easy never to allow anyone on your team to do specific duties for you.
As the years go by, it becomes harder to enable another person to go through the learning curve.

Hi Rhinos, Dr. FJ here with episode 18 talking about Courage. Not talking about courage in the typical sense, you know jumping on top of a grenade for your partner.
I’m talking about the courage in your marketing. You have to have the courage to put out your marketing material exactly what you do and exactly who it’s for and be willing to let some people go elsewhere, because obviously, it’s not for everyone. Can Chiropractic help everyone? Of course.
44. Will you be the next Overnight Success?
Most of the time, overnight success is the result of years of hard work.
But fear many times masks itself as being realistic and waiting for the right time to come.
Then years pass you by, and you are no closer to your goals.
Life and practice require a Zen-like balance of working your process and developing your skills and your team, with the confidence that the results you want will come.

I want you to do a thot inventory. As you’re going through your day – just be aware of the thots going on in your mind. How many of them are productive, positive, building, growing, and nurturing vs beating you down, negative, nagging and counterproductive. “You’re not your father, you’ll never be like him” “there’s a lot of chiropractors in your town, you’re never going to make it” “there’s no insurance anymore, you’ll never make it” “Why are we even doing this?” “What’s the point”
YOU GOT TO TAKE INVENTORY OF YOUR THOTS!
That’s why we’re so big on meditation and affirmations – to quiet the mind and program the internal dialogue. It doesn’t mean you won’t have doubts, it just means that they won’t paralyze you and they’re not there all the time.
