Hi Rhinos, Dr. FJ here with episode 18 talking about Courage. Not talking about courage in the typical sense, you know jumping on top of a grenade for your partner.
I’m talking about the courage in your marketing. You have to have the courage to put out your marketing material exactly what you do and exactly who it’s for and be willing to let some people go elsewhere, because obviously, it’s not for everyone. Can Chiropractic help everyone? Of course.
Hi Rhinos, Rhino University EP 16. Instead of a how to/tactical, this will be more of a mindset episode.
You have to take responsibility for your life, your practice, your success, your family, everything.
You have to take responsibility for everything. Winston Churchill said the greatest power of humanity is responsibility. Jim Rohn has one of my favorite quotes, “Don’t wish things were easier, wish you were better”
Get better, take your own responsibility. If you blame someone else for your position, you’re never going to go anywhere. Anytime you have any resistance, it’s someone else’s fault “it’s my town, they just don’t get it” “they want xrays in my town” “they don’t like chiropractic in my town”
Hey Rhinos, Dr. FJ. I want to talk today about the most important phrase you will ever learn. I don’t care how much time you spend with your patients. What you DO need to do is be very efficient with your language so you’re not wasting 10-15 minutes talking about the weather when you could be checking and adjusting people. Now, some visits will take longer – it could be more complicated, has more resistance, so you need to spend that time.
I’m not saying not to build a relationship with your patients – I’m all about getting to know my patient’s families, and their lives, creating rapport and building that relationship BUT I’m talking about that WHILE I’m checking them.
It took Dr. Fred 7 years of MASSIVE daily visits to get this phrase and it changed his practice.
I want to talk about a very simple and effective tool/strategy - it’s really just about caring and showing people you care. Anyone can do it, but few do because it takes actual emotional labor, it’s emotional work to care; sometimes it hurts but showing that pain and compassion creates an incredible relationship with people. It’s a game changer. Not everyone that comes into your office will stay with you long enough to get well, but you can show you care with every single person.
Hi Rhinos, Dr. FJ with Rhino University
This video I’ll be talking about the Unique Corrective System™. This is an internal marketing strategy that no one in the profession is teaching (yet). Almost everyone is teaching “screen, screen, screen.. talk, talk, talk” or just talking about facebook ads “hey! I got this crazy special!”
That’s all fine, you know, I’ve done lots of screenings and talks in the past but THIS is more important than all of that. THIS is how you differentiate yourself from the market. If you want people to Value what you do, if you want people to follow what you do, if you want educated referrers who then tell their friends and family bringing educated referrals that are happy to go through your process and happy to pay you well for what YOU DO, then THIS IS KEY!
The number 1 reason why people don’t do it? They’re afraid.
They’re afraid of saying straight up, “this is what we do” and having a few people go somewhere else.
You have to have the courage and toughness to allow those people to go somewhere else. It’s OKAY.
