76. How Fast Are Your Hands?

One piece of genius Dr. Fred taught me when I worked for him was slowing my hands down.

When you are busy, it is easy to get rushed and allow your hands to go too fast.

Having slow hands will imply you are thorough, you are focused, you are precise, you are taking your time, and you have intent.

By slowing your hands down, you imply to your patients they are important and that you care.

Being mindful of your hand speed and making sure your hands are slow is crucial for a great patient experience.

You can make a minute feel like 10 minutes.

There is so much communicated by simply making sure your hands are slow when you palpate and adjust.

Keep Charging,
