68. What I learnt From 2 Weeks Off

My family and I were fortunate to be able to take two weeks off this Feb and March.

One week was in the Keys for the Blue Rhino Training, and then we rented a car and met my inn laws in the Tampa area.

Over those two weeks, I did make a few business decisions via text for my office manager.

Other than that, I was off, enjoying my vacation with my family. It was incredible.

I came back and had to let a team member go, but I was so rejuvenated and re-energized.

It reaffirmed how important taking time off isand creating a team that allows you to do that should be a top priority as you move out of your start-up phase and into an established successful practice.

I plan to take off eight full weeks this year and eight long weekends.

It isn't because I'm lazy or I hate my work.

It's because I want to be excited, focused, and innovative for the next 50 years.

Keep Charging!
