58. 5 Year Plan No Longer Works
I have stopped doing moderate length goals. I think our world is changing so fast. Not long ago, ranking number one on google got me 20 NP a week, and now I have to do google ads to get that.
The world is changing rapidly now. It wasn’t always the case. Thirty years ago, you knew the yellow pages and penny saver ads would return many new patients. It was more predictable and stable. At least that’s what my dad tells me.
I used to do 3-year goals, but I have done away with that now.
I use my 27 year and long-term vision and then have yearly and quarterly goals, allowing for more and faster growth and evolution.
