Rhino University EP 15: The One Phrase for MASSIVE Impact
Hey Rhinos, Dr. FJ. I want to talk today about the most important phrase you will ever learn. I donât care how much time you spend with your patients. What you DO need to do is be very efficient with your language so youâre not wasting 10-15 minutes talking about the weather when you could be checking and adjusting people. Now, some visits will take longer â it could be more complicated, has more resistance, so you need to spend that time.
Iâm not saying not to build a relationship with your patients â Iâm all about getting to know my patientâs families, and their lives, creating rapport and building that relationship BUT Iâm talking about that WHILE Iâm checking them.
It took Dr. Fred 7 years of MASSIVE daily visits to get this phrase  and it changed his practice.
Rhino Univeristy EP12: The Secret to a Loyal Patient Base
Hi Rhinos!
I want to talk about a very simple and effective tool/strategy - itâs really just about caring and showing people you care. Anyone can do it, but few do because it takes actual emotional labor, itâs emotional work to care; sometimes it hurts but showing that pain and compassion creates an incredible relationship with people. Itâs a game changer. Not everyone that comes into your office will stay with you long enough to get well, but you can show you care with every single person.
Rhino University EP 9: Mindset in a Crisis
Rhino University EP7: Profit Forecast in a Crisis
The most dangerous thing you can do right now in this crisis is be overly optimistic and assume itâs going to be done in a couple weeks. You have to plan as if this is going to go on for months and months and months. Plan for that, and if it doesnât, GREAT, if it does, youâre ready for it.
So you need to Profit Forecast â Where are you going to be, if you continue to run like youâre running, where are you going to be in 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 5 monthsâŚ
So you need to know your numbers. We have a 6 week average excel sheet we send to our Rhinos for them to plug their numbers in. If this is your first time figuring your 6 week averages out, start with the 6 weeks just prior to this crisis starting. Compare your ânormal runningâ 6 week average with your last few weeks in this crisis. Youâll then know, âokay, Iâm operating at 50%â. Okay now letâs forecast that out in 5, 6 , 7, 8 weeks operating at 50 % (or whatever that looks like for you) and see what that looks like. Okay, now these are our costs, this is where weâre operating, are we profiting? So you got to know your numbers and you have to forecast out. Donât be overly optimistic!
Then you want to look at your missed
