What’s at your Core? Let’s have a look at your sickness mindset. There is a paradigm shift that is happening in the world today from a sickness treatment paradigm to a wellness prevention paradigm. As a society we tend to get sicker and sicker while low back pain is at an all-time high.
Some alarming stats* on this current “Sickness Treatment Paradigm”
- 2.2 million people have reported adverse drug reactions to prescribed medicine.
- Americans spend at least 50 billion each year on back pain.
- Experts estimate that more than 80% of the population experience back problems.
- The American college of physicians updated its low back pain treatment guidelines in 2017 to support a conservative approach to lower back pain because of the opioid epidemic.
- Heart disease annual death rate: 69,697
- Low back pain is the leading cause of disability
- Number of overweight Americans: 100 million
Houston we have a problem!

Let’s began the revolution for the Wellness Prevention Paradigm, a Healthy Lifestyle.
Chop Wood, Carry Water!
It’s not that you have high Blood pressure, you have inflammation of the cardiovascular/circulatory system.
It’s not that you Diabetes, you have inflammation of the Pancreas.
It’s not about the symptom; the symptom is always the effect.
It’s about the cause. The real question is,
what is the interference to my 7 systems of health that are CAUSING my symptoms?
- Anxiety is a symptom; the cause is the interference to the Anatomic Nervous System and the expression of your health .
- Asthma is a symptom; the cause is the interference to the respiratory system.
- Constipation is a symptom; the cause is the interference to the elimination system.
- Stomach and indigestion issues (like IBS) are symptoms; the cause is interference to the digestion system.
- Numbness in the hands or feet is a symptom; the cause is interference to the nervous system.
- Pain in the shoulders hips and knees is a symptom; the cause is inference to the Peripheral nervous system.
- Fatigue and exhaustion with hyper tension is a symptom; the cause is inflammation irritation to the circulatory lymphatic system.
Now let’s get back to health, it’s important to ACTIVATE our Lymphatics System so you can Stimulate, Activate and Motivate your IMMUNE SYSTEM.
How can we do this on a regular basis? EXERCISE, specifically Rebounding.
Why is it important to focus first on the lymphatic system?
The lymphatic system is an extensive system that infiltrates all tissues of your physiology, in other words, it is your sanitation/plumbing system. Lymph fluids travel through the lymphatic system carrying the remains of bacteria, virus, parasites and toxic waste. Lymph tissue, especially the lymph nodes, filter out these waste products.
Our cardiovascular system has a pump, the heart, which allows our blood to flow. Similarly the lymphatic system, squeezes out lymph fluid by contraction of muscles and this is done through movement. i.e. exercising. Together, the lymphatic system uses the Thymus, a specialized primary lymphoid organ of the immune system, and the Spleen, which acts primarily as a blood filter. The spleen also plays an important role in rejuvenating our red blood cells as they oxygenate the physiology.
When we don’t exercise enough or drink enough pure water our lymph fluids become thick and sluggish. The only way to move lymph fluid through the system is through exercise. Rebounding, a type of elastically leveraged low-impact exercise usually performed on a device known as a rebounder—sometimes called a “mini-trampoline,” is the best type of exercise to stimulate and activate your lymph fluid. I have patients in the 70’s, 80s and 90s being able to rebound; it does phenomenal on geriatrics and even pediatrics (my grandchildren use one and love it!!)
In physiology there is something called Wolff’s law that states “bone in a healthy person or animal will adapt to the loads under which it is placed.” What research has found is that rebounding is the most effective exercise because of the g forces places on the cells; the cells get stronger after just two minutes of rebounding. As Freidrich Nietzsche said: “What does not destroy me makes me stronger.“
Are you ready to Stimulate and Activate your Lymphatic System?
Are you ready for the Wellness Prevention Paradigm?
NO EXCUSES. LET’S GET TO REBOUNDING!
Remember to always consult your Physician when starting an exercise program.
First, you’ll want to be sure you have a Rebounder. You’ll find many different versions but through research and testing, I’ve found a few to be the BEST.
You are looking for one with a diameter around 40 inches and with a support/safety bar. You want the firmest bounce possible.
You’ll want to start with 1 to 2 minutes of rebounding with 3 to 8 minutes recovery, do 3-5 sets. The wave that we create through small repetitions of rebounding, stimulates the lymphatics. The recovery cycle is just as important as the exercise cycle (Read Here for my blog post about Alpha Coherence Training and the importance of Recovery for your heart)
You will work up to doing do 6 sets, then 9 sets, then 12 sets and finally the goal of 15 sets. This is the Principle of Space-Time Repetition.
Not only will you be moving lymph fluid but Rebounding is gentle on the joints as well! Your body with Activate and Oxygenate your Physiology and you will actually start getting TONED UP! Save your joints, get off the treadmills and start rebounding today! Your joints will Thank You for it!
